Apparently we’ve reached that point in history where the tables of controversy have turned. Only a few short years ago, it would have been controversial, for instance, for someone to suggest that there were more than two genders and that an individual could move between these genders as they damn well pleased. But now, in the Grand Woke Year of Our Lord 2019, it’s actually controversial to say anything else. Indeed, according to MSNBC anchor Chris Jansing, it’s “incendiary” to claim that there are only two genders.
The subject came up this week when Jansing and her panel turned their attention to the Republican Party and its relationship to women and the LGBT community.
“We’ve got an important question now,” Jansing said. “What does it mean to be a mainstream Republican? It is the question that some Republicans have been asking in the age of Donald Trump, and increasingly, it seems the answer might be to make incendiary comments about women and members of the LGBT community.”
“In Louisiana, the Republican candidate for governor, Ralph Abraham, is out with a new TV ad this week making incendiary comments about gender,” she continued.
In the ad, Abraham, who is challenging incumbent Democrat John Bel Edwards, said that he was bringing a number of commonsense propositions with him to the governor’s office if he is elected: “Here’s the truth – Life begins at conception. Government is too big. Our taxes are too high. And our car insurance is too expensive. President Trump is doing a great job. Facts matter more than feelings. The Second Amendment is self-explanatory. And as a doctor, I can assure you there are only two genders.”
Now we expect that liberal media mouthpieces would take exception to some of these claims: They don’t obviously want to confront the moral dilemma at the heart of abortion, they don’t want to talk about our right to bear arms, and they certainly don’t want to admit that President Trump is “doing a great job.” But we live in sad, strange times when they can’t even admit that it is far from “incendiary” to claim that there are only two genders.
Alas, you already knew we lived in such times. Thankfully, there are still Republicans willing to speak the truth, no matter how much the libtards on MSNBC may hate it. We have a feeling there are plenty of Louisiana voters who are grateful for it as well.
