Biden’s Big Plan: Legalize Immigrants and Bring in a Flood of Refugees

In a joint presentation with Bernie Sanders on Wednesday, Joe Biden revealed a major part of his presidential platform. It includes handing full citizenship to 11 million illegal immigrants, the complete reversal of everything President Donald Trump has done to shore up our border security, and one of the highest refugee caps this country has ever seen.

In addition to those questionable policies, Biden will expand the number of “sanctuary” locations throughout the country, restrict how much ICE can do to deport criminals sitting in American jails, and essentially wipe out all the immigration controls this administration has painstakingly put in place.

We’d stop short of calling this an “open borders” platform, but it is about as close as you can get to that policy without coming right out and saying it. It is a gift to the far left – the exact kind of weak-willed, bow-to-the-radicals platform that everyone suspected that Biden would embrace. Joe Biden, the man, may or may not be a political extremist. But if he’s going to spend his presidency pandering to those who are, it really makes no difference.

The platform also promises a 100-day halt to all deportations, during which time the Biden Administration would hire a plethora of oversight officials who will be put in place to monitor everything done by ICE and the Border Patrol. The platform goes on to say that these supervisors will keep a keen eye on the “racial underpinnings” of policies developed by President Trump.

“Systemic racism,” the platform reads, “has infected our immigration system, including the policies at our borders and ports of entry, detention centers and within immigration law enforcement agencies, policies and operations.”

Oh, and in case you were wondering: Biden’s plan would do away with the travel ban Trump put in place to those countries who do not cooperate with U.S. vetting authorities. Indeed, it goes further, encouraging visitors from countries like North Korea, Afghanistan, and Iran to go ahead and reapply for access to the United States. We’re sure terrorists are laughing all the way to the local visa application center as we speak.

“While Joe Biden and I, and our supporters, have strong disagreements about some of the most important issues facing our country, we also understand that we must come together in order to defeat Donald Trump, the most dangerous president in modern American history,” said Sanders, celebrating Joe’s drift to the left.

Dangerous, eh? If Biden gets elected and implements these policies, he’ll put new meaning to the word.
