CNN: Finally, Joe Biden Will Bring Real Christian Faith Back to the White House

Oh dear, Joe Biden is not even in office yet and the degree to which the left-wing media is fawning over this guy is already unbearable. The media, which became a caricature of itself in its zeal to “get” Trump for the last four years, is keeping the clown show rolling. Instead of even offering a modicum of reasonable criticism (or just responsible reporting) on the next president, they are going full-on Babylon Bee in their rush to deify the Man Who Defeated The Monster. Whether it’s coming together to defend the honor of DOCTOR Jill Biden or blushing over the next president’s love for his dogs, it’s getting embarrassing.

CNN is always at the forefront of embarrassing journalism, of course, so it’s little surprise to see them take the lead on this subject. They did so this weekend with a beautiful feature story on Biden, the man who will finally bring real Christian faith back to the White House.

No, we’re not kidding.

After describing Biden’s recent Mass schedule, CNN reports: “That’s a level of devotion to regular religious services not seen from recent presidents, who were professed Christians but intermittently attended church or worshipped privately while in office. Donald Trump has not had a habit of attending church services weekly, though he made several appearances at the Episcopal church in West Palm Beach near his resort as well as at various evangelical churches across the country.

“Barack Obama would go to church for the occasional Christmas or Easter service in Washington or on vacation in Hawaii, but rarely during the rest of the year,” they continued. “And George W. Bush, being a high-profile born-again Christian, tended to worship privately as president at Camp David and intermittently attended church services in Washington, DC, and Texas.”

This goes on for 1500 interminable words, and it isn’t until the bottom fifth of the long piece that CNN makes any mention of Biden’s support for abortion – a stance that puts him in direct odds with a longstanding position of the Catholic Church.

“Among conservative Catholics in Washington, Biden’s election has been greeted with caution and suspicion. His support for abortion rights and the Obama administration’s legal fights with Catholic non-profits over providing contraception coverage loom large,” they report.

But it’s okay, as CNN later mentioned, because none other than Pope Francis called Biden to congratulate him on winning the election.

Then again, after taking a look at the Nativity scene outside the Vatican this year, we’re not exactly sure what’s becoming of Francis and the Church in the first place:
