In a survey that we are quite certain will be wholly ignored by the mainstream media, Rasmussen Reports has found that most Americans, when asked which racial group is the most racist towards others, feel that black people fit the bill.
“A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 75% of American Adults think the term ‘racism’ refers to any discrimination by people of one race against another. Just 15% say it refers only to discrimination by white people against minorities. These findings have changed little in surveys for the past several years,” reports the pollster.
“Eighteen percent (18%) say most white Americans are racist,” the site continues. “But 25% believe most black Americans are racist. Fifteen percent (15%) think most Hispanic-Americans are racist, while nearly as many (13%) say the same of most Asian-Americans.”
We have our doubts as to whether you can really quantify which racial group is the “most racist,” but there is some encouraging news in that first paragraph: The vast majority of Americans are not buying into the Critical Race Theory definition of racism, which means: Power + Prejudice. In this way, social justice academics have been trying desperately to get people to believe that only white people can be racist. Other races may be prejudiced, but that doesn’t count and it doesn’t matter. Only white racism matters because only white racism truly exists.
The fact that 75% of America rejects this nonsense is extremely gratifying.
Another hopeful sign: “Given a choice between black lives matter and all lives matter, 44% of blacks – and 30% of all voters – say black lives matter more.”
So what does this tell us? For one thing, it’s a glimpse into just how out-of-touch with America the American news media has become. There is no way you would believe that this is the general belief out on the streets of the country if you got all of your news from CNN or NBC. For another, it suggests that Americans are at least somewhat immune to the constant bombardment of racial messaging they’re getting from the MSM, from woke corporations, and from Democrats.
As for the underlying contention that black people are the “most racist” group, we have no idea. Judging by what we’ve seen on social media over the last few months, we’d have guessed that young white women would be the most racist group…against whites. But if it is black people, it’s not hard to figure out why. After all, the constant narrative being drilled into their ears these days is that America is a hopelessly racist nation whose whole existence is geared towards keeping a brother down (if not outright killing him). After a while, that message starts to sink in.
If people would turn their animus towards the perpetrators of this message instead, they would find out what “awakening” is really all about.
